The Petersen Tower
This tower, near Sway in the New Forest of Southern England, was completed in 1886. At just over 66 metres high it is the tallest non-reinforced concrete structure in the world.

Songdo Beach in December
December, 1996 finds me in Songdo Beach, South Korea, looking out west to the Yellow Sea. The air of an off season resort is the same here as in England, but I was made to feel very welcome by the locals.

The New Forest near Ashurst
I decided to spend some time camping in the New Forest, southern England, in what turned out to be the wettest May for 20 years. This picture was taken near the campsite at Ashurst.
