The Sylva Leader was a small two seater kit car available in the mid eighties. I built the example illustrated using a Ford 1600cc crossflow engine, 2000E gearbox and Vauxhall Viva rear axle and front subframe.

The 'Planets from Melbury Hill' photograph was taken during the beautiful planetary alignment on May 4 2002. Apart from resizing the scan is unretouched. Fujica ST605, Fujinon 50mm, Fujichrome Sensia 400.

All the photos above were resized and retouched by using The GIMP which is available as a free download for Linux, Macintosh and Windows computers.

When I worked in Hong Kong, there was a water garden in Sha Tin where I would sometimes eat my sandwiches at lunctime. One section had wrought iron trellises for climbing plants. The patterns below are inspired by their design. The patterns should tile to fill any sized screen.
